Layers for your edits
Put photos, logos or videos on top of your video. Move, resize, rotate them and adjust transparency right in the preview.
Vertical, horizontal or square
9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube or 1:1. If a video doesn't fit, Lucas adds a blurred background.
Rotate and flip
Straighten that sideways video in one click: 90° turns and mirror effect, in the preview and in the final video.
Remove the background (chroma key)
Add a green or blue screen video as a layer and remove its background to place it over another. Eyedropper and strength controls to fine-tune, in the preview and on export.
Volume up to 200%
Turn each clip's and each layer's sound up or down. You hear it instantly, exactly as it will come out.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
€0.99, a single payment for life. No catches: no subscriptions, no monthly fees and no in-app purchases, with all updates included. The only things that may cost extra are optional and you pay for them directly to whoever provides them, like using your own Claude or ChatGPT key in the assistant.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Open Lucas and start editing. On each social network you sign in with your own account, like in any browser.
Which devices does it work on?
Lucas is coming to Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), Mac, Android, iPhone and iPad. Windows comes first; the rest very soon. On foldable phones like the new iPhone Duo, it uses the big screen to show the editor and your socials at once.
Which formats does it open?
MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, AVI and more; JPG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC photos. iPhone videos too: Lucas prepares a copy for the preview and exports from the original.
Where are my projects saved?
On your computer, in .lucas files. Lucas also saves your latest project automatically in case it closes unexpectedly.
Does Lucas upload anything on its own?
No. Lucas doesn't send your videos or your data anywhere. It only goes online when you open a social tab, connect your stats or turn on an AI with your key.
